A resilient, gentle little soul with a huge heart and a soft spot for cuddle time!
Born outdoors as the tiniest runt of a seven-kitten litter, Runty had a rough start. Half the size of his siblings, he struggled to reach his mom and faced a medically fragile first month. He was skin and bones, very weak, and malnourished when he was rescued. His spirit was broken. But thanks to dedicated foster care and plenty of love, this brave boy has blossomed! Though he remains petite with adorable short legs and a delicate frame, Runty is now a thriving, sweet, and deeply affectionate companion. Runty is grateful to have been rescued.

Personality & Home Requirements:
Velcro Lovebug: Runty craves human connection and protection. He loves being right on or near his person, and sleeping in bed with you is an absolute must! He is a Velcro kitten.

Confidence Building: Runty needs a gentle touch and a little encouragement to help his personality continue to shine.

Low-Entry Litter Boxes: Due to his short legs and smaller stature, he needs litter boxes with low entrances so he can easily step inside. An extra clean litterbox is a must.

Ideal Home: A gentle household with teens or adults who will respect his small size and pamper him like the prince he is.
He would do best in a home that understands he is still on the road to recovery and will need careful monitoring of his health status. Runty still needs to catch up on gaining weight. Runty occasionally has full body shakes tremors and will need ongoing monitoring for potential neurological issues. These shakes have been very mild and almost non noticeable as he continues to gain weight and get consistent nourishment.

Age: 11 weeks (petite frame & short legs)
Runty would do wonderfully if adopted alongside one of his littermates, Gracie, Pipsqueak, Faith, Miyagi, Huckleberry. If you have room in your heart and bed for a sweet, loyal shadow, Runty is ready to be your best friend!
