Meet Tito! 🐾

Tito is a handsome 1-year-old domestic shorthair grey tabby who came to us as an owner surrender and has been in our care for over a month. Shelter life has been a bit overwhelming for him, so he is currently shy and scared while he adjusts to all the new sights and sounds around him.

Even though he is nervous right now, Tito has a gentle, sweet nature underneath it all. With patience, quiet encouragement, and a calm home environment, he has the potential to blossom into a loving and loyal companion.

Tito is litter box trained and has good indoor manners. He is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and fully ready to go home when the right family comes along.

Madison Oglethorpe Animal Shelter is a non-profit shelter serving over 720 square miles. We are open intake, meaning we can not turn away animals from either county we serve. Our shelter intakes double or triple it's capacity every month so it is essential we place animals quickly into adoptive homes. Since so many animals enter the shelter we often don't have enough volunteers to write an individual bio for each. Viewing and adoption hours at our shelter are Wednesday through Sunday from 12 PM to 5 PM.
All adoption fees include age-appropriate vaccinations, flea treatment, deworming, and spay or neuter, microchip, and adoption packet.
Fees:
Dogs over 6 months old: $100
Puppies under 6 months: $200.
Cats and Kittens are $75 ($65 without microchip).

NOTE: Our adoptions are first come first served, simply filling out an application does not mean the animal will be held for you, you must come meet the animal in person in order to be considered for adoption.
If you rent you must bring your lease or a letter from your landlord stating you may adopt.
