DESCRIPTION
Hi... I’m really glad you’re here. I’m still getting used to meeting new people, so I might hang back at first—but I promise I’m worth the wait. Sadly I didn’t have the easiest start to life. I was found outside an apartment complex with my siblings, and not everyone there was kind to us. Because of that, I can be a little unsure at first. New places and new people take me some time—but once I know I’m safe, I start to show my true self. My foster mom will tell you: I’ve come a long way. At first, I wouldn’t let her touch me at all. Now? I love curling up next to her and just being close. I’m not the “jump into your arms on day one” type—but give me patience and kindness, and I’ll quietly become your little shadow. You might notice my ear is a bit different—it’s slightly deformed. I think it gives me character, but more importantly, it doesn’t slow me down one bit. I’m still very cute... just in my own unique way. I enjoy playtime (toys are much nicer than the outside world I used to know), but I’m also a calm, gentle soul. I’m fully litter box trained and get along well with other cats and kittens—they help me feel more confident. What I really need is a patient, loving home where I can continue to feel safe and blossom at my own pace. If you’re someone who understands that trust takes time, I think we could build something really special together. Maybe I could come sit next to you someday?
