Saroo is a sweet little guy who showed up one morning at an outdoor cat colony, hungry and trying his best to make friends with all the adult cats. Unfortunately, they weren't nearly as interested in him as he was in them! He was cautious when approached, but quickly decided people were safe, ate a good meal, let himself be picked right up, and has been happily enjoying indoor life ever since.

Saroo is incredibly affectionate and wants to be wherever his people are. He follows you from room to room, gives head bumps, has a wonderfully loud purr, and his favorite sleeping spot is curled up on your chest or neck, where he'll happily stay all night. He'll even answer you with the sweetest little squeaks when you talk to him as he's falling asleep.

He's playful, curious, and loves exploring, but has a slightly cautious side when he's somewhere new. Give him a little time and his confidence quickly comes out. He hasn't met a toy he won't investigate, although wand toys and his ball-track toy are current favorites. He's also perfectly capable of entertaining himself, but he'd much rather know what his humans are doing and be part of the action.

Saroo has been around several adult cats and does a great job respecting their boundaries, even though it's very clear he'd love for one of them to finally accept his invitation to play! Because of that, he may really enjoy having a friendly feline companion who actually wants a kitten buddy. He's a good eater, uses his litter box well, uses his scratchers, and warms up to new people pretty quickly.

Saroo is looking for the thing he was clearly searching for when he wandered into that colony: a home where he belongs. If you're looking for a playful little sidekick who can explore independently but still wants to end every day curled up against you, Sarro might just be your boy.
