Chase is shy and cautious with new people and may take a while to feel comfortable in a new home. He isnâ€ÂTMt the type of cat who will immediately climb into a strangerâ€ÂTMs lap, and he does not enjoy being picked up. But give him the time and space to build trust on his own terms, and youâ€ÂTMll get to see a completely different side of him. Once Chase decides youâ€ÂTMre his person, he becomes absolutely obsessed with you and forms a very strong, affectionate bond.

Chase also loves other cats and really benefits from having feline companionship. Because he struggles with separation anxiety, his ideal home will have another friendly, playful cat who can keep him company, play with him, and help him feel secure when his people arenâ€ÂTMt around. Chase loves interacting with other cats, but his companion should have a sweet, playful temperament that matches his own.
