While she may be part of our Shy Angels program, Darcy has shown us that once she feels safe, she has no shortage of opinions--and she's more than happy to share them through her adorable little chirps and chatty conversations.

When Darcy first arrived at HART, she needed time to adjust and learn that people could be trusted. With patience, consistency, and gentle interactions, she has grown more comfortable and begun showing her affectionate, loving personality. Now, one of the first things many people notice about Darcy is how eager she is to connect once she knows you.

Darcy truly enjoys the company of her favorite humans and thrives on gentle attention. She loves leaning into pets, soaking up affection, and simply being near the people she trusts. Her soft conversations and warm presence make spending time with her feel especially rewarding, and the bond you build with her is one that feels deeply earned.

Darcy will do best in a calm, low-stress home with adopters who understand that trust and confidence take time to build. With patience, kindness, and a peaceful environment, we know Darcy will continue to blossom into a devoted and loving companion.
