Meet Golden Oreo. Those ears...that little face...and that tiny wink will steal your heart.Golden Oreo is finally big enough for his neuter, which means he’s ready to begin searching for the family he’ll spend the rest of his life with. While Oreo has retained some sight, we still consider him a special needs kitten. He has adapted incredibly well and learns his surroundings quickly, but he’ll need a family that understands this is a 15-20 year commitment. We want this to be his forever home.Oreo will need to remain indoors only.He is a playful, curious kitten who loves shoelaces and sometimes climbs your legs when he’s excited. Because of that, he probably isn’t the best fit for a home with very young children or someone elderly who could be injured by an energetic kitten. We would also love for Oreo to have a feline buddy. He gains confidence from watching another cat and often follows their lead, helping him navigate his world. If you don’t already have a friendly cat, we’d be happy to help you find him the perfect companion here at Kentucky Kitty Cats.Golden Oreo may see the world a little differently than most kittens, but that doesn’t slow him down one bit. All he wants is what every kitten deserves—a family to love him exactly as he is. Could that family be yours?

We are a super small, no kill rescue that is operating way above our capacity. We have taken in over 600 animals in 2024, and we desperately need good adopters, fosters, and sponsors to keep the doors open.
We operate solely on donations, and we are always looking for wonderful families to join our efforts. We have dozens of felines not posted and dozens more on our waiting list. No matter what type of setting you have, if you are looking to save a feline, we can find one for you to help. It typically it cost us $60-80 to fully vet a feline and $80-120 to vet a canine depending on size and health conditions and sex.
