Creamsicle is on the at risk list for medical reasons. Creamsicle arrived at the care center with a large wound second to an embedded collar. Given the location (axillary region) and size of the wound, it has been left to heal by second intention. Creamsicle would benefit from a rapid shelter exit so that the wound can be monitored closely as it heals. Additionally, she is underweight and has moderate dental disease. Creamsicle solicits attention from handlers and has allowed for medical exams and treatments.
What my friends at ACC say about me:
My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!
Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!
I am a sweet, social, older gal, looking for the perfect forever home!
I love getting pets and - you guessed it - snuggles!
Need some biscuits for your breakfast? I'm an expert kneader!
Creamsicle tolerates attention and petting but appears to be moderately fearful or stressed in the shelter. She will likely need time to warm up to her new home. We recommend that she go to a home with some cat experience preferred or at least be well counseled in fearful cat behavior. Primary Color: Orange Weight: 4.86lbs Age: 9yrs 0mths 1wks
