Mack - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Cortland, New York

Mack has won our hearts over. He has made tremendous progress since being rescued as a stray (possibly dumped off). We included a before and after picture to show his physical changes. One eye was infected and had to be removed.
He was terrified in the shelter at first. Mack still gets a little nervous when people approach him, but does like to be brushed, is sweet and has been enjoying exploration of a quieter room in the building.

Mack really needs a calm home where he can continue to gain confidence. The busy shelter and numerous cats is a little overwhelming for him. He's approximately four years old. He came from a situation with almost 50 cats, the owner passed away and the cats had to survive on their own throughout the winter. Please take a chance on this survivor!

He has been neutered, tested negative for FeLV/FIV, microchipped and is up to date on vaccines.
