Cyrus - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Cortland, New York

Cyrus was found by a couple of good Samaritans in the middle of the road, lethargic and seemingly not interested in running from them. Fearing for his safety they took him in for the night and brought him to the shelter the following morning, by which time he had made significant improvement from his state the night before. After multiple physical examinations, it was found that his left two canine teeth are missing which was likely caused by some sort of head trauma, explaining his lethargy the night before. We could not confirm that he was hit by a car as he did not have further injuries consistent with that, but may have been thrown from one. He is now learning to trust people and warming up to his new environment where he can now grow into a happy, healthy, and playful kitten.
