Meet Sylvie.

Every morning and every evening, an elderly woman would look out onto her patio and see the same tiny kitten curled up asleep on her table. She couldnt have weighed much more than a pound, and every time the woman tried to help her, Sylvie would dart underneath the deck where she felt safe.

The problem? That deck sat beside a very busy road, and every day she stayed there was another day she might not make it home.

The woman reached out to Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR, and we both went into high gear. Within 24 hours, that scared little kitten was finally in our arms instead of hiding under a deck. She was safe, she had a full belly, and for the first time in who knows how long, she could finally rest without worrying about what might happen next.

It didnt take long for all of us to fall completely in love with her.

Sylvie is the sweetest little soul. Shes petite, gentle, and has the kind of quiet personality that just melts your heart. The scared kitten who once ran from every outstretched hand has learned that people can be kind, that pets feel wonderful, and that being loved is pretty amazing.

Now all she needs is one more happy ending.

Sylvie is looking for a family who will always make sure she has a soft place to sleep, a full tummy, and someone to remind her every single day that shell never have to hide under a deck again.
