While trying to help an injured cat on a freezing, negative-degree day, a kind woman left her car door open… and came back to find this tuxedo boy sitting right in her passenger seat like he belonged there all along. He knew exactly what he was doing — he found warmth, safety, and someone with a big heart.

She named him Denali after her car, and before long he became “Baby D” — because once you meet him, you get it. He’s that kind of cat.

About a year old, Baby D is everything people hope for — playful, affectionate, and always wanting to be near you. He’s the kind of boy who will follow you around, curl up with you, and truly be your best buddy.

He was put on all the lost and found pages and checked for a microchip, but no one came forward. So now, Purrfect Haven Cat Rescue and TNR is stepping in to make sure his next chapter is the one he deserves — a safe, indoor-only home where he’s loved for the rest of his life.
