A true survivor...Meet Adrianna!
On freezing cold February afternoon, Adrianna was found in a snowbank by a kind and compassionate Samaritan who brought her into the shelter for emergency care. She had a temperature that was 9 degrees below average for a kitten, and her ear tips were severely frostbitten. She was also emaciated and eager to eat. Given attention from our medical team and specific instructions to get her through the upcoming hours and days, her foster family was able to bring her back up to health!
Adrianna is now six months old, happy, healthy, and living her best life! During her time in foster, Adrianna's ear tips did not survive the frost bite; and have fallen off. Don't worry, they are now completely healed and have not had any issues! She now has an even cuter look that makes her entirely unique!
Adrianna was socialized with two other cats who quickly took her under their wing to gain social skills. She is a spicy and sassy girl who doesn't let older, more experienced cats get to her; she puts them right in their place when needed. She loves to run around, play, and stand her ground like the strong gal she is!
She is incredibly smart; and is quick to learn new (good) habits. She even knows how to figure out treat puzzles! Adrianna is very food motivated and enjoys just about every treat you can imagine, from Churu, fish fillets, crunchy treats of all sorts and more. She loves to climb on cat towers, take naps and be held like a baby (for a bit, until she's ready to start running around again)!
Adrianna is spayed, microchipped, up to date with vaccines. She is also completely housetrained. Give us a call at (607) 547-8111 to learn more about our adoption process and schedule a visit to meet Adrianna, as she is still in a foster home. She will be sure to add light and laughter to any home looking for their new companion!
