DESCRIPTION
Meet Shasta!
Shasta is a 3 year old mixed breed gal that was brought into our care as an unclaimed stray. She's now ready for adoption and eager to start her new adventure!
Shasta can be a bit nervous while meeting new people, but if you approach her gently and give her yummy treats she quickly warms up! She knows some basic commands and is almost fully housetrained. She enjoys spending a lot of time outside in our yards, and going on walks. We are still learning more about her when it comes to how she behaves around other animals.
Before she is adopted, Shasta will be spayed, microchipped, and up to date with vaccines. Give us a call at (607) 547-8111 for more information about how to adopt Shasta!
ABOUT: MIXED BREED DOG BREED
The mixed breed dogs, often referred to as mutts, are a diverse and unique group with a blend of different characteristics from various purebred dog breeds. These dogs come from a mixture of lineages, resulting in a wide range of sizes, coat types, and temperaments. While each mixed breed dog is distinct in its own right, they are known for their resilience, adaptability, and often have fewer health issues compared to purebred dogs due to their genetic diversity. Mixed breed dogs make wonderful companions for families looking for a loyal and one-of-a-kind pet.
