Meet Kensington!

Some cats are made for adventure. Kensington is made for afternoon naps, cozy blankets, and a life where absolutely nobody expects him to do too much. At 12 years old, this orange-and-white gentleman has perfected the art of being a senior citizen, and honestly? He's pretty wonderful at it.

Kensington may wear a permanently grumpy expression, but don't let that handsome old-man face fool you. Underneath that crusty exterior is a sweet little ray of sunshine who enjoys the simple things in life: a soft bed, a sunny windowsill, a cozy bookshelf cubby, and plenty of pets from his favorite people. He's even been known to meow when you stop petting him before he's quite ready. Excuse you, he wasn't finished!

His idea of an exciting day is finding a new place to nap, and we're pretty sure he's perfectly content keeping things that way. He's also quite fond of his office-mate, Margot, and would love to have the companionship of another calm, gentle kitty in his next chapter.

Kensington is 12. He isn't going to be the kitten who keeps you on your toes or the cat who's looking for endless entertainment. He's an older gentleman who has earned his rest, and what he has to offer is something just as special: quiet companionship, sweet moments of affection, and the kind of love that comes from making a senior cat feel safe, comfortable, and cherished.

We know Kensington may not have endless years ahead of him, but we hope someone will see that the years he does have left are worth celebrating. He deserves a soft place to land, a sunny spot to snooze, a loving hand to pet his dusty little head, and someone who thinks a sleepy old man is just about the best thing in the world.

Could you be the person who makes Kensington's golden years his coziest ones yet?
