Meet Badminton, a handsome 6-year-old buff-colored boy who has mastered the art of making friends—and he would very much like to make you his next best friend.

Badminton is the kind of cat who has never met a person he didn't want to love. He'll greet you at his kennel door with a loud purr, headbutt his way into your heart, and happily crawl right into your lap for some attention. One of his favorite ways to say hello is by climbing right up onto your chest and nuzzling your neck while purring the entire time. And if you dare to stand up before he's ready for you to leave, don't be surprised if he tries to climb your leg to keep you around a little longer.

This sweet boy is especially fond of affection from his familiar people, including hugs that he is more than happy to initiate himself! But Badminton isn't all cuddles. He loves carrying his spring toys around in his mouth and can be quite the playful guy, especially when he has a feline friend to join him. He's been seen happily playing with another cat, taking turns with the same toy and politely giving each other a chance to play. He's gentle, playful, and wonderfully respectful of his kitty companions.

Whether he's curled up for a nap, carrying around his favorite toy, playing with a friend, or climbing into your arms for a hug, Badminton is happiest when he's with someone he loves.
