Meet Zesto — an orange-and-white sweetheart with a heart of gold and a story that will make you want to scoop him up and never let go. Found abandoned outside a Zesto’s restaurant, it’s clear all he ever wanted was love… and now he gives it back tenfold in the most heart-melting ways.
Zesto is a gentle cuddlebug who truly thrives on companionship. He’ll happily follow you from room to room just to be near you, but he’s also wonderfully respectful—content to settle nearby like your calm, loyal little shadow. Most of the time he’s laid-back and observant, soaking in the world around him… until the zoomies hit and his playful, silly side takes over!
The second you reach out to pet him, Zesto’s purr motor starts right up. He leans into every bit of affection with complete trust, showing just how grateful and devoted he is. He’s the kind of cat who forms a deep bond with his person and will be your constant, loving companion.
Zesto is also a true adventure cat at heart. While many cats are perfectly content indoors, Zesto has made it clear that he really thrives with safe access to the outdoors. In his foster home, once he was able to explore outside in a secure, enclosed space, his stress completely melted away—showing just how much he benefits from fresh air and stimulation.
He’s a smart, curious boy (he even figured out a doggy door in under an hour!), and he enjoys soaking up the sun, watching the world go by, and chasing bugs in a safe environment. Zesto would do best in a home that can offer secure outdoor enrichment, whether that’s a fully enclosed “catio,” a cat-proofed yard, or supervised adventures on a harness or in a backpack. He has already shown that he’s comfortable wearing a harness and, with a properly fitted one and a little practice, could make a great leash-walking companion. Because of his strong desire to explore, Zesto is not suited to a strictly indoor-only home—his safety is key, so any outdoor access should always be secure and supervised.
Zesto does have a grade 3 heart murmur, which doesn’t slow him down at all, but he will need an adopter committed to routine vet check-ins and keeping an eye on his health. He’s absolutely worth that extra care—and then some.
At around 2–3 years old, Zesto is the perfect mix of mellow and playful, affectionate and independent. If you’re looking for a loyal best friend who will fill your home with warmth, purrs, and a little bit of adventure, Zesto is ready to be your guy 🧡🐾
