Meet Kanela! This beautiful 6 year old lab mix came to us from our rescue partner in sunny Puerto Rico! Kanla has lived her entire life as a street dog on the island, basking in the sun and shmoozing tourists into extra treats. Now, she is ready to settle down and put her past behind her. Kanela is a sweet, active, friendly girl who gets along with other dogs. She is learning her leash skills and household manners in our care, but a life on the streets doesn't prepare a dog for a home life! She will need training and socialization once in her forever home. Kanela is shy and slow to blossom right now, but we've no doubt this gorgeous girl will thrive once she finds love!
