Shrimp and Squid are both very chill and relaxed cats. They can get the occasional case of the zoomies, but for the most part, they enjoy lounging and relaxing. They have been around children ranging from 0–15 years old. They are patient with younger children, although the children they have been around have been respectful of their space.

Both cats are cuddle bugs. They will climb into your lap and allow handling. Shrimp is curious about dogs, while Squid will hide until he feels it is safe. They are comfortable sharing space with dogs but generally do not interact with them. They have also been around cats other than each other, and the owner reports that they are similar with other cats as they are with dogs—curious and shy at first, but they warm up with time.
