I am not currently at the shelter because I'm growing big and strong in a foster home! *Staff thinks I will be ready by late May*. Mr. Bingley is a cute little guy who was found as a stray with his four littermates. He and Mabel, his sister, went to the same foster home to get comfortable with people and all the sounds that come with people. He may be shy in a new environment, but he has made tons of progress, exploring his room and eating while his foster hangs out with him. He and Mabel listen to music during the day, have learned that being pet is not the worst thing in the world, and loves Churus (we call them meat tubes around here) and his cat dancer toy, and uses his litter box perfectly. Bingley would love to go home with his sister if possible, and since it takes a bit for him to warm up, a home with no kids or older kids who will respect his space might be best. You can sign up to pre-adopt me by placing a $50 choice hold. This is a non-refundable fee that does not go towards my adoption fee, but it does give you the first opportunity to adopt me. Shelter staff will contact you when I’m ready to go home with my new family! To place a choice hold, you can either come into the shelter or call us at 719-302-8707; you may wait to speak with a customer service representative or leave a voicemail. Choice holds are placed on a first-come, first-serve basis and only one choice hold can be placed per animal. Once I am old enough to go home, I will have to be adopted at the shelter without a visit. Unfortunately, we aren’t able to visit while I’m in the foster home as it’s a lot of stress on me to be transported back and forth to the shelter for visits, which makes me more susceptible to getting sick. I want to be healthy for our new life together!
