Meet Cher! This beauty was found with her litter of five kittens living under a house. Our intake coordinator trapped her and anticipated having to spay and release her after the kittens were weaned, only to discover she is sweet as can be! So thankfully we were able to pivot and she will be adoptable too.
It doesn’t seem like Cher has been a spoiled indoor cat like she deserves, and she is a little timid and getting used to the sights and sounds of a home, but she is starting to warm up! She immediately took to the litter box. She is fine with handling and realizing she really likes attention and will purr the whole time she’s getting pet. She would thrive with someone who is willing to be patient with her and help show her she is safe and loved in a calm, quiet household.
Cher could likely live with other cats, and even had a small dog buddy in the neighborhood where she was rescued.
Take a chance on Cher - we know you won’t regret it!
Note: Cher is currently in a temporary foster home with her kittens. She will be available to transfer to a separate foster home the week of June 12th. She is not yet spayed or vaccinated but will be soon! She will be classified as a foster until her spay has been completed.
