Salem - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Cincinnati, Ohio

This is Salem, one half of a pair of very sweet and affectionate cats! She was fostered as a kitten in our shelter, along with her brother Meeko. Unfortunately, their owners had to move with very little time to look for a place that allowed cats, so the two of them are back to find a new home. They come from a household with kids ranging in ages 5-14, with even younger children coming to visit, and these two cats did excellently with them. They are fond of small kids, and don't mind being picked up and swaddled like a baby. The few times dogs came to visit the house, both cats were a bit skittish, but didn't mind too terribly much about the furry visitors.

Salem in particular is energetic, likes to spend time cuddling with you, giving nose kisses, and eating. We highly recommend you adopt the both of them together, as they have spent their entire lives living with one another, and are known to cry and become withdrawn when split up.
