Meet Dorothy!

Dorothy is a beautiful 7-year-old, 18-pound domestic shorthair calico with a gentle heart and a soft, fluffy coat you'll love to pet! While she may be a little shy when meeting new people, she quickly blossoms into a sweet, affectionate companion once she feels safe. Her loud, happy purrs are the perfect reward for earning her trust.

Dorothy loves the simple things in life. Whether you're reading a book, watching TV, or enjoying naps, she'll happily curl up beside you for some quiet companionship. She also enjoys having cozy, peaceful spots where she can relax during the day.

When she's feeling playful, Dorothy has fun chasing feather wands and rolling around with her favorite catnip toys. Dorothy grew up with her littermate, Desmond, and has lived with dogs, though she definitely prefers the company of cats. She is spayed, litter-trained, and enjoys all sorts of food and treats and also prefers clean litter!

All of our cats come spayed or neutered, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, microchipped, up to date on flea and tick preventative, and treated for any ailments found upon veterinary examination. All adults are combo tested; for some litters of kittens who have not been exposed to other cats, only one kitten in the litter may be tested. The adoption fee covers a portion of these services and helps us continue rescuing animals.
