Mayflower - Domestic Short Hair Cat Available for Adoption in Chicago, Illinois

Mayflower will ONLY become available on Sunday, May 31 from 12–4 PM at Neiman Marcus (737 N Michigan Ave, Chicago, IL) during the Angels with Tails event. Please apply in advance to get pre-approved so you're ready ahead of time. This sweet little explorer won't be available long—come early to meet Mayflower in person and give yourself the best chance of taking her home the very same day!

Mayflower is a bright little free spirit with a big heart and an even bigger personality. She loves romping and wrestling with her siblings, but she also has a wonderfully independent streak. Her days are filled with playful zoomies, climbing into the cat tree for lounging breaks, and pouncing on anything that moves (or looks like it might move!). She's especially fond of her siblings and enjoys winding down with a good round of Cat TV watching when she's ready to relax.

Her superpower is her perfect balance of independence and affection. Mayflower is confident enough to explore on her own, but she also happily melts into a lap for pets and purrs when she's in the mood for love. She marches to the beat of her own drum, yet she's deeply social and thrives in the company of other cats and people alike.

If Mayflower had a job, she would definitely be an adventurer or explorer. She is curious, adaptable, and always eager to investigate new sights, sounds, and toys—especially wand toys with strings that bring out her playful side. Her unique coloring has even earned her the nickname “chipmunk,” adding to her charm and personality.

Mayflower must be adopted into a home with another young cat or kitten so she always has a feline companion to play, learn, and grow with. She would also love to be adopted as a pair with one of her siblings Victoria, Endeavor or Discovery. She would do wonderfully in a home with children and would thrive in a lively, interactive environment where she can stay active and engaged.
