This terrific, tongue blooped lad is Jester! Jester is around 4.5 year old, and loves humans & cats alike.
Jester was brought into our care after being brought to a municipal shelter in Indiana. He was initially found in a barn with several teenagers throwing wooden crates at him, using him as target practice to try and hit him in one.
Lucky for him, a neighbor came to his rescue and got him safely away from the teens and to the shelter.
He's clearly seen the bad of humanity, and can be very nervous with people approaching him still, but absolutely adores his cat buddies, and is warming up day by day with human touch & interactions.
When we first saw Jester, we took immediate note of that little tongue of his that never goes in - just constantly sits out, begging you to boop him! We assumed our vet would say something of him needing dental surgery, or that it's due to a previous injury, etc, but oh no! He is completely healthy & well - just a quirky little tongue out cutie that likes to lick the world and taste all that life has to offer him!

Jester is vaccinated and has already been neutered. Because he finds such comfort in others, Jester would love to go to a home with another cat in the home, or to be adopted out with one of his F&C buddies! Our standard cat adoption fee is $150, and the adoption fee for declawed cats in $175. Due to the amount of medical care we invest in each of our animals, we do not offer discounts when adopting more than one pet. We do same-day adoptions and do not place holds on animals.
