Meet Dunga!
This handsome 6-month-old brown tabby was rescued from Chicago's south side during the World Cup — and named after famous Brazilian soccer manager Dunga. He's currently living the good life in foster with his teammates: brothers Cafu and Kane, and sister Ronnie (fka Ronaldo).
With his gorgeous tabby stripes and striking gold eyes, Dunga is truly a beautiful cat — but his sweet, gently personality is the real star. He's athletic and playful, but not over-the-top rambunctious, the kind of kitten who'd thrive in just about any home. He has met children under 10 and done very well with them.
Dunga loves wrestling with his brothers and sister and would much prefer to be adopted with one of them, or go to a home with another cat to keep him company.
Dunga's favorite pastimes include chasing ball toys (naturally!), leaping after wand toys, and catching the crinkled up receipts. But when he's done with the workout routine, he turns into a total lap cat, purring nonstop and asking for chin scratches and belly rubs.
He's a great eater, reliably uses his litter box, and is already neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, and parasite-free — ready to settle right into his forever home.
Adoption fee: $150 (goes toward spay/neuter and rescue efforts for future cats in need)
Location: Foster home on Chicago's north side
