Meet Basil! Basil is an absolute sweetheart who enjoys cuddling up in laps, showing her gentle and calm nature. Once she warms up to you, she loves engaging in playtime with wand toys and getting belly rubs. You might catch her making cute chirp meows or watching birds outside the window! She enjoys playing with catnip mice as well.

Basil would do best with a similarly-aged kitten playmate and would need to be adopted into a home with another young cat or along with another cat friend (we have hundreds of recommendations!). She is very playful and affectionate and would do well in a busy home with slightly older children who know how to respectfully interact with cats. When she's not rubbing against her favorite person or playing with her toys, her favorite thing to do at home is to watch the birds from the window.

This sweet girl was found clinging to the median on the expressway! She is thoroughly enjoying her new lease on life and does not take her peace and quiet for granted.
