Meet Calliope!
Callie is the softest, fluffiest, loudest purr storm you will ever meet. Her purrs are like thunder rolling in and they will vibrate through your bones. She will blep for you if you scratch her in the front of her right shoulder, like Thumper beating his foot when you hit just the right spot. The thing is, you have to catch her first. She will skedaddle if she catches a flash of movement from you. Your best bet is to lure her into a false sense of security, like hiding in her play tunnel, then reach in and show her what she is missing with a few shoulder scratches. She loves this little game and will continue to make you pursue her. She is worth the chase, as all muses are. She loves other cats, and for once, she will be the one who does the pursuing. She feels most comfortable with other cats around. She is currently learning all about dogs and will probably start pursuing her large dog housemate soon as well. She is socialized with older children but does not seem to be bothered by the energy of younger children, as she will just stare from tunnel waiting for someone to come find her and cuddle her.
