Igor (bobtail) - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Chattanooga, Tennessee

Igor has every reason in the world to be afraid of people, but somehow, all this sweet boy wants is to be loved by them.

Igor came into our care after being run over by a car, leaving him with a broken leg and a severely injured tail. His little body had been through more than any kitten ever should. Thankfully, his leg has since healed beautifully, but his tail could not be saved and ultimately had to be amputated. These days, Igor sports the cutest little bobtail as a reminder of just how far he's come.

You would never guess his difficult past from meeting him now. Despite everything he's endured, Igor is incredibly sweet, playful, and affectionate. He loves to play and enjoy all the things he missed while he was healing, but more than anything, he wants to be close to his people.

Igor is a cuddle bug through and through. After everything humans and the world have thrown his way, he still chooses to trust. He still seeks out affection. He still wants nothing more than a warm lap, gentle hands, and someone to love him back.

His injuries may have changed the way he looks, but they certainly haven't slowed him down. His leg is completely healed, and his little bobtail only adds to the charm of a kitten who is already impossible not to fall in love with.

Igor survived something that could have easily taken his life. Now, he's ready for the part of his story where he never has to wonder if he's safe or loved again.

Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to a number of locations within the continental United States.
