Pants by name, zoomies by nature!

Hello! My CSHS name is Pants and I'm an energetic cutie! I had babies about 8-9 weeks ago, but they have since been weaned from me. She was an incredible mom: always keeping one eye on her kittens, coming running whenever they called, and chirping her way through the house to track them down if they wandered too far! I still have lots of kitten energy myself as my curious spirit keeps me on the move.

I have a beautiful tortoise coat with unique markings... you might spot the appearance of a crow on my adorable orange chest!

I would do well with a morning person / household as this is currently my favorite time to zoom! I'm intrigued by high up places and often attempt to get there. I enjoy toys and exploring so would be happiest in an environment that will provide a bird watching window, scratching post(s), and stimulation. Given my playful nature, it seems likely I would appreciate a companion to play with, but I've been the solo cat in foster care so it's hard to know for sure. If I'm ever too excitable, you can place me in a room with my things and I will quickly calm down as I see this as my safe space.

When I'm not exploring, I'm quietly curled up in one of my favorite spots (often my foster's bed) or sprawled out on the floor next to you (waiting to be pet)! I haven't mastered the art of cuddling yet, but I'm learning that if I come near you and relax, I get love! I do like to be near you and will excitedly follow you from room to room, though I'm still learning not to get under foot. I have a joyful purr and like to rub my face/ nose on whatever is near! If you cannot find me, I'm resting peacefully under a couch or chair as I also like time by myself. With patience, stability, and trust of my forever home, I will likely be a lap cat in no time!

Pants is looking for a home that will embrace both sides of her personality: the energetic goofball and the thoughtful observer. She'd thrive with people who can give her lots of playtime, enrichment, and patience as she continues learning that life doesn't always have to be at full speed.
