Meet Jaycee, who is ready to find her forever home!
She has incredibly soft fur, loves a good scratch, and happily purrs while soaking up attention. She especially loves being near her people and is content simply hanging out in the same room as her foster family, but loves to play when the opportunity arises!
Jaycee is highly social and interactive with other pets (cats and dogs). She seeks to interact with other cats at the pet hotels. She has done wonderfully with kids ages 9 and 12 and has even warmed up to the resident dog. She was also previously living with a toddler since their birth and she has always stayed patient and kind - if she needs space, she simply retreats to a quiet spot like the basement.
She absolutely loves wet cat food. The sound of a can opening brings her running from anywhere in the house! Jaycee loves playing fetch with small, soft cotton toys and will even play fetch by herself.
She enjoys looking out the window or watching birds on TV and will then curl up in snug spaces like blankets, cat tents, or drawers to rest!
She is showing us what a loving, easygoing companion she can be and would make a wonderful addition to a family looking for a gentle, affectionate cat!
Jaycee has been loved by all who have cared for her and is looking for her furever family (she loves people, kids and other pets!)
All CSHS kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.
