Meet Chestnut!
Chestnut is one of those cats who is just incredibly easy to love. He's confident, low-maintenance, polite, and happiest when he can be near his people. He'll happily spend the day lounging beside you while you work, then settle in for a good couch snuggle when it's time to watch TV.
He gets along well with older kids and other cats, and he can absolutely coexist with dogs. He's currently living with two fairly obnoxious dogs and has managed to make peace with both of them - which honestly says a lot about his patience.
Chestnut is a gentleman who knows what he likes. He's affectionate and social, but he appreciates being able to interact on his own terms. Because of that, we think he'd be happiest in a home with older children who understand how to respect a cat's space rather than little ones who may want to grab, chase, or constantly pick him up.
He doesn't need much: a comfortable place to nap, people to hang out with, and someone who appreciates a cat with a little personality and a lot of heart!
Chestnut has become an incredibly special member of our foster family, and giving him up is going to be hard. We're hoping to find him a home that sees exactly what we see in him - a ridiculously lovable, wonderfully chill cat who deserves to spend the rest of his life being adored.
All our kitties are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, FIV/FeLV test (if not born in care), dewormed and microchipped.
