Meet Sully A Survivor Ready for His Forever Home
Sully is living proof that kindness can survive even the hardest circumstances.
We rescued Sully while trapping cats with Friends of Feral Felines from a local feral colony. At first, he seemed like any other community cat, but a veterinary exam revealed that he was covered in infected lacerations and abscesses from attack wounds. He was desperately ill, and without rescue, he likely would not have survived much longer.
We brought him indoors to recover, expecting a frightened feral cat who would be difficult to handle. Instead, Sully amazed us. Within a day, he accepted gentle pets. Within two days, he was greeting us with loud meows and asking for affection. Despite everything he had endured, Sully chose trust, love, and friendship.
Sully is an incredibly sweet, affectionate cat who loves attention and human companionship. He has clearly left street life behind and is more than ready for a safe, loving home.
Sully is also FIV-positive. Fortunately, many FIV-positive cats live long, healthy lives with routine veterinary care and an indoor lifestyle. FIV is not spread through casual contact such as sharing food bowls, water bowls, litter boxes, or grooming. In calm households, FIV-positive and FIV-negative cats can often live together safely.
Sully is looking for a family willing to look beyond the stigma of FIV and see the wonderful cat he truly is. He has overcome incredible odds and now deserves the chance to spend the rest of his life being loved.
If you're looking for a loyal companion with a huge heart and an inspiring story, Sully is waiting to meet you. We promise he'll return your love a thousandfold.
