Meet Chickpea and Chelsea — A Bonded Pair of Sweethearts!

At just 5 months old, Chickpea and Chelsey are two adorable kitten sisters who have a special bond and need to be adopted together.

Their story is heartwarming. They were discovered during a Trap Neuter Vaccinate Return project at an elderly woman’s home, where many feral cats were living. It was initially assumed they were feral too...... until they surprised the trappers by leaning into their hands, asking for pets, and purring with delight!

Once it was known she was friendly, Chelsey, a tabico, became the first rescued kitten soon joined by her friendly sister Chickpea, a white and black kitten. They now share a kitty condo and exercise room. They run to the gate of their condo when their fosters approach, and loves pets, and cuddles.

Today, Chickpea is a little love bug. She loves being petted, and happily curls up beside her people for a cozy nap. Her sweet, trusting nature makes it hard to believe she once lived outdoors.

Chickpea and Chelsea are happiest together, and thrive together as bonded siblings. They fervently hope for a loving home where they can grow up side by side and share a lifetime of cuddles, playtime, and companionship with each other and their fur-ever family.

Starting September 15 you can visit the sisters at Pet Supermarket in Matthews NC at 3036 Weddington Rd. The adoption fee includes both. We hope you fall in love!!
