Mable - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Charleston, South Carolina

This sweet boy may be a little shy when meeting new people, but he's got a brave side that's starting to shine! With a little patience and a furry friend nearby, Mable is gaining confidence and learning that the world isn't such a scary place after all. He loves having a buddy to show him the ropes and help him feel safe as he explores. Mable would love a home where he can settle in at his own pace, with plenty of love, encouragement, and maybe a kitty friend to help him continue to blossom!

A website can tell part of a pet’s story, but not all of it. You’ll notice that some pets may be listed as “unknown” or may not receive a “yes” for things like house training, compatibility with children, other cats, or dogs. In many cases, this doesn’t mean the answer is “no”, it means we can’t guarantee the answer with complete certainty. Because every home, family, and pet dynamic is unique, behaviors in a shelter environment don’t always predict behaviors in a home.

That’s why adoption is about more than a website profile. Our team is here to share what we’ve observed, answer your questions, learn about your lifestyle, and help connect you with a pet that’s the right fit for your family.
