She can be a little shy when meeting new people, but once she feels comfortable, she'll happily come over to ask for pets and enjoy spending time with her favorite humans. She has a playful side, too, and enjoys chasing toys and having fun once she's settled into her surroundings. Nyx has overcome more than most cats ever have. She had her left eye removed because of a severe infection, and later underwent a full-mouth dental extraction due to stomatitis, with only her two canine ("fang") teeth remaining. Despite everything she's been through, Nyx hasn't let it dampen her spirit. She has adapted beautifully and continues to enjoy life with remarkable resilience.
