This handsome boy is friendly, outgoing, social, playful, and SO much fun. Marvin loves his people and wants to be right in the middle of everything youre doing. Whether hes snuggled up beside you in bed, keeping you company while you work on your computer, or racing around the room with lightning-fast zoomies, Marvin is happiest when hes with you!
Marvin is an incredibly smart and playful kitten with energy to spare! He loves every toy he can get his paws on, but his absolute favorites are little rattle mice with long tails—and guess what? He plays fetch! Hell even fetch bigger toys, but those little rattly mice are his favorite. And if youre wondering whether Marvin has something to say about all of this... the answer is YES! He is wonderfully talkative and will happily tell you all about his day.
Marvin came to us from a local shelter after he wasn't thriving there on his own. We soon discovered that he had pneumonia, and it took several weeks of loving care for this little guy to get back to feeling like himself. Now he is ready for the next chapter of his life—and he is looking for a home where his humans will give him plenty of playtime, attention, cuddles, and opportunities to show off his brilliant little mind. He does love to chew on hands, so his family will need to patiently continue helping him learn that toys are for chewing and hands are for loving.
If youre looking for an affectionate, entertaining, clever little companion who will keep you laughing, talking, playing fetch, and feeling loved, Marvin might just be your perfect match! Hes the best boy and has SO much potential to become more than an incredible lifelong companion.
** Marvin MUST go to a home with another young, active, playful cat. (Or adopt a 2nd kitty with Marvin for $50! He adores his friends Turbo, Pebble and Bean!) He needs an indoor-only home with plenty of room to run around, cat trees to climb on, and toys to play with. He needs a family who will give him lots of love, attention, and playtime. **
Marvin does great with other cats after proper introductions. He hasnt been around dogs yet. He does well with respectful, older children, and he is litter box trained.
