Soot is a five-month-old domestic short hair with a sleek black coat and a big personality to match. This neutered male kitten was first found on the perimeter of the Catmandu property and placed in an offsite foster home. Just a few days later, his brother Hayze was discovered—and the two were eventually happily reunited.

Since then, Soot has shown just how strong that bond is. He’s incredibly protective of Hayze, and the two are closely bonded, so they must be adopted together.

Soot is friendly, outgoing, and loves interacting with people. He’s the kind of kitten who will greet you with curiosity and charm, then happily settle in for playtime or companionship.

He is up to date on all vaccinations and has been microchipped, so he’s ready to find his forever home—but only one that has room for both him and his brother.

If you would like to meet these special furballs, please fill out the Online Pre-Adoption Questionnaire on our website, https://www.catmanducc.org/copy-of-adoption. Then come by Catmandu Friday through Sunday for a meet and greet and to talk with an adoption specialist. Adoption hours are 11 am to 4 pm. Plan to arrive no later than 3 pm so that you have time to spend with the cats before adoptions close at 4. Please bring a carrier in case you find your purrfect friend.
Renters must bring a copy of their lease showing they are allowed to have a cat.
