DINO: Neutered male, approximately 4-5 years old

So here's the thing. Sometimes when a cat has been rescued from a hard life on the street, he has...opinions. Once every day isn't a struggle for survival, when he has all he can eat and a warm, safe home with a loving foster, he wants...more.

He wants every door to be opened for him on command, or he'll do it himself. He doesn't want to share his home with others cats. He wants all the good things for himself.

That's Dino. He wants to be the only cat and he wants to go wherever he likes. When he feels like sharing his opinions, he does so in a loud, commanding voice.

Dino is a big, handsome, solid boy. He was in rough shape when first rescued but now he has gained weight and his fur is clean and soft. He loves food, treats, and head and cheek rubs. When he isn't lounging on the bed, he is looking for someone willing to listen to his stories.

Are you willing to be Dino's perfect servant? Can you open your heart and home to a cat with a strong personality? If so, Dino is your guy.

It's true that Dino is a bit of a project cat. He needs a patient person who can give him the time to feel confident in himself. He needs a cat savvy person who knows how to read cat body language, as he has been known to occasionally hiss and whack. We think this behavior is a holdover from his life as a street cat but as he learns that he is secure and loved, a sweeter, gentler Dino is starting to shine through. We think Dino misses the outdoors, so a home with a catio would be ideal.

We are looking for a confident adopter who can continue the socialization that his wonderful foster has started. He needs to move on because he is not getting along with the other foster cats in the home, so he is being offered for adoption earlier than usual. Dino definitely needs a home with no other cats, and because of his behavior there should be no young children in the family.

Dino has been neutered, microchipped, dewormed, vet checked, and vaccinated. His medical records will accompany him upon adoption.
