Paco & Paloma - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Calverton, Maryland

Paco and Paloma are a sweet pair with very different personalities who make a wonderful team.

Paco is playful, affectionate, curious, and confident. He starts purring almost immediately when someone touches him and is naturally drawn to people. He is comfortable around strangers and will often approach new people without hesitation. He also gets along very well with other cats. Paco enjoys trying to play with my older, timid cat, but he is respectful of boundaries and stops immediately when the other cat is not interested. With people he knows, he is especially affectionate and loves being around them.

Paloma is quieter and more cautious. She is playful and very food motivated, which can help her overcome her initial shyness. She usually keeps some distance from strangers at first, but wand toys and treats are a great way to earn her attention. She is also careful with familiar people and likes to take her time before accepting affection. When she feels completely safe, she may allow petting and start purring, and those moments show just how sweet she really is.

Paco and Paloma balance each other nicely. Paco is the confident social one, while Paloma is more reserved and takes longer to warm up. They would do best together with someone who will appreciate their different personalities and give Paloma the time she needs to feel secure. In return, you will get two very sweet cats, each with their own way of showing affection.
