Tundra is as loving as they come. This sweet and affectionate boy absolutely adores cuddles, face rubs, and quiet companionship. Once he trusts you, he’s happiest curled up nearby, soaking up all the love and attention you’re willing to give. He’s wonderful with kids, great with other cats, and has been incredibly affectionate with his foster family. Tundra is also quite the conversationalist — he’s a chatty boy who will happily “talk” to you about his day and remind you when he’s ready for attention or snacks. His gentle personality and loving nature make it impossible not to fall for him.
This handsome guy is still learning that the world can be a safe place, so he can be a little timid in new environments. Tundra prefers calm, quiet spaces where he can take his time adjusting and have cozy hiding spots to retreat to when he feels overwhelmed. He has recently started meeting the resident dog in his foster home, and while he’s still a bit unsure, we’re continuing to learn more about how he feels about canine friends as he settles in.
Medical considerations: Tundra came into care with ulcers in his mouth and, after treatment, the vet has determined extra care will be required moving forward. We are currently exploring whether Tundra will need dental surgery to remove his teeth (which would be covered by the rescue) or if his condition may be manageable with regular medication but he doesn't want to miss out on a chance at a forever home while he waits.
