My foster writes: Meet Cafe Erzule, or Roo, as we call her! She has already learned her foster name and greets us affectionately whenever we come home. At night, she loves to curl up close, give hugs, and make plenty of biscuits.
Roo is very playful and will be happiest with someone who can set aside time to play with her every day. She loves chasing a laser, batting at feather toys and balls, and even playing with an ice cube. Cat TV is another favorite. Once, she apparently forgot she was a cat and brought my slippers to bed. 🫣😁
We suspect Roo may be new to indoor life. On her first night, she looked shocked when I turned on the light! She's become comfortable with so much since then, although the vacuum is still her known enemy. She's getting used to that, too.
Roo is very clean, grooms herself often, and has never had a litter box accident. She hasn't quite figured out that she's supposed to bury what she leaves in the litter box, so it stays right on top. It makes cleanup easy, and at least we don't have to worry about litter box paws when she puts them on our faces! 🤣
She also likes to join us for dinner. Roo sits politely on a chair beside the table to keep us company, without begging for food or climbing onto the table. You can see her doing just that in the photo. She's an affectionate, energetic little companion with a lot of personality.
