Oliver is one of the staff's favorite, and putting him up for adoption was not an easy choice for us. Oliver originally came in as a stray back in September of 2024 as a kitten. Back then, he was known as Raccoon because of his unique looks and how different his trills/purrs are. He was successfully adopted, and this February due to a change in his owners living arrangements, he ended up back in our care.
Those that had been here when he was a kitten, and the new staff, all fell in love with Oliver again. We made him an office cat because he seemed to get along so well with everyone, and you can never have enough furry greeters here!
He has one of the loudest and most unique purrs once he gets started. He LOVES attention, and is not very fond of dogs. We have noticed that he gets along great with our office cats, but also noticed a small issue with an unknown culprit. For a long time, we were blaming our furry CEO, Bojangles the office cat for spraying randomly, but then we found out the truth......Oliver was the offender!
For all his great qualities, marking isn't something we can have in the office, so he is back up for adoption hoping for his furever home. We havent noticed any odd smells in cat ward since he was put back there, so we think it may have something to do with our office being so hectic.
We feel that Oliver would do best as your only cat as we feel the spraying would likely not happen, but that's not something we can promise.
If you have what it takes to work with a super sweet boy like Oliver, we would love to make that match happen. PLEASE understand that we want him in a loving home that can love him and work with him even if the spraying happened to continue. He's too great to be here, he deserves to be with you!
