Meet Spook, also affectionately known as Spooky Boy or Spook-a-Duke!

Spook is the only boy in his litter and earned his name from day one. With his mostly white coat and little gray markings, he looked like a tiny ghost but initially, his personality fit the name too!

When Spook first arrived in foster care, he was scared of just about everything. New people, unfamiliar sounds, and even gentle pets would send him looking for the nearest hiding spot. He preferred to keep his distance and wasn't quite sure what to think of his new human friends.

What a difference a little time and love can make.

Spook has completely blossomed and decided that humans aren't so scary after all. He's now the calmest little guy of the bunch and an absolute sweetheart. He's happiest snuggled up in your arms, wrapped up like a little burrito, where he'll happily relax until he drifts off to sleep.

Watching Spook learn to trust has been incredibly rewarding. He went from a frightened little kitten who wanted nothing to do with people to a gentle, cuddly boy who quietly steals your heart.

Spook is ready for a family who will give him the love and security he's learned to enjoy and plenty of cozy arms to fall asleep in.
