Meet little Pippi! He is the "runt" of his family in size, but not in personality! Pippi is a petite little fellow. When rescued, Pippi reminded his rescuers of the character Pippi Longstocking for his tiny little striped legs, and the name stuck. Pippi is outgoing, sweet, and loves playtime with his siblings, where he holds his own. He is curious, smart and always wanting to discover something new. After playtime, he likes to lay on his foster mom's lap and take a kitten nap.
Pippi and his brothers and sisters were rescued at about 5 weeks of age along with their mom Nala, and have quite the story to tell. Nala once had a comfortable home with a woman who loved her. Unfortunately, Nala, the family of cats, and the woman found themselves homeless and living in a camp. Nala gave birth to 6 beautiful kittens and was the absolute best mom ever! The woman had to leave the camp and could not find placement for her cats, so she left them in a crate at the abandoned camp. Nala, her babies, and the other cats were rescued. They are all affectionate and clearly remember living in a house.
Pippi will be neutered, microchipped, vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines, and defleaed and dewormed. He will be available for adoption around the middle of July. We are taking applications now to find the perfect ending for this precious little family!
