At 18 pounds, Oscar is a BIG, handsome boy—but his heart is even bigger! At about 6 years old, Oscar is the definition of gentle, laid-back, and affectionate. He isn’t looking for anything fancy. He just wants a person to call his own and a safe, comfortable place where he can finally relax and enjoy life.

Oscar was rescued from behind a motel, and now he’s ready to leave that difficult chapter behind him. He loves being around people and is happiest simply keeping you company. Give him some treats, a comfy couch, and a good movie, and Oscar will be one very happy cat. He’d love nothing more than to curl up beside you for a cozy evening.

Oscar is also very laid-back with other cats. He is a gentle soul and doesn't have an aggressive bone in his body.

Oscar is FIV positive, but please don't let that scare you away from this wonderful boy. FIV-positive cats can live long, happy, normal lives with proper care. FIV is primarily spread through deep bite wounds, and because Oscar is such a gentle, non-aggressive cat, he can often live happily with other compatible cats.

Oscar is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped and is ready to find the loving home he has been waiting for.
