Evangeline’s story began on the cold city streets, where she was discovered under a porch in the middle of winter, protecting her five tiny kittens from the chill. Though life had been unkind, this petite one-year-old calico never gave up. Her courage and love kept her little family safe until help arrived — and now, it’s her turn to be cared for.

With her delicate frame and beautiful patchwork coat, Evangeline is as lovely on the inside as she is on the outside. She’s a gentle, soft-spoken girl who may take a little time to trust, but once she does, her sweetness shines through in the most heartwarming ways. A quiet nuzzle, a slow blink, a soft purr — her affection is tender and genuine.

Evangeline enjoys the company of other cats and would thrive in a calm, loving home where she can feel secure and adored. She’s fully vetted, spayed, and ready to begin her new life — one filled with warmth, kindness, and the love she’s always deserved.

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION:

I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.

PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit.

1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,
3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt.
