Meet Chantel and Matthew

Chantel, a one-year-old petite dilute tortoiseshell, was found on the city streets while pregnant and still caring for her young kitten, Matthew. She’s a beautiful, chubby little girl with a wonderfully sweet personality. Chantel loves to play, purrs readily, and enjoys affection.

Matthew is her six-month-old son, a handsome red tabby who will likely grow bigger than his petite mom. He is shy and will need a little time and patience to feel comfortable, but he has shown no aggression. Once he warms up, his playful personality begins to shine.

Chantel and Matthew are deeply bonded, and we hope someone will give Matthew the chance to stay with his loving mom. They would do best in a patient, loving home without dogs and with children ages 12 and older. They need someone willing to give Matthew the time he needs to build trust and form a lasting bond, while enjoying Chantel’s affectionate and playful nature.

Both cats are fully vetted and microchipped. With patience, understanding, and a safe environment, this special pair will make wonderful companions.

PLEASE READ BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION:

I take the time to write bios outlining the personality of each cat. To the best of my ability I determine if the cat would adjust to a household with young kids, dogs or other cats. If I feel they would not be a good match I state that in the description. Most of the cats that I rescue were abandoned and having a hard time surviving on the streets. I take them in, get them vetted/vaccinated and then let them decompress.

PLEASE DO NOT fill out an application if you have young kids or dogs where I specifically state this would NOT be a good match. I will only contact you if I feel your application will be a good fit.

1) All the cats/kittens that are up for adoption will be spayed/neutered have age appropriate vaccinations, combo tested and treated for fleas and worms and microchipped.
2) An approved application is necessary prior to a meet and greet,
3) Submitting an application does not lock you into a commitment to adopt.
