Orca - Domestic Short Hair Cat for Adoption in Briarcliff Manor, New York

At just about a year old, **Orca** has already been through quite the journey. She was found wandering the streets, heavily pregnant and in need of a safe place to land. Once in our care, Orca headed to a foster home, where she gave birth to **seven beautiful babies!**

Orca was a wonderful mama, and now that her kittens are all grown up, it's finally her turn to be taken care of. Most of her babies have already been adopted, and Orca and two of her little ones are still waiting for their happily ever afters.

This sweet girl is incredibly affectionate and has fully embraced the comforts of indoor life. Her favorite place to be is curled up in a nice, cozy lap, soaking up all the love and attention she can get.

Orca spent so much time caring for her babies, now she's ready for someone to spoil **her**. If you have a warm lap and plenty of love to give, Orca just might be your girl.

Thank you for your interest in adopting! Please note: we do not pre-approve applications, and we do not require applications to be submitted in advance. If you see an animal you'd like to potentially meet, there's no need to wait-your next step is to visit us in person, no appointment necessary!

To adopt, you must have a valid photo ID and be 21 years of age or older. Adoptions are first come, first served based on best match. To find the most appropriate home for each animal and best fit for each family, SPCA Westchester reserves the right to decline an adoption. If your application is approved, we do same day adoptions and do NOT hold animals unless the animal requires more than one visit. If you're intending to adopt, please bring a leash or cat carrier with you. If you are interested in adopting a dog and currently have a dog of your own, please bring them with you.
