Meet Milo! Just look at his face — it’s hard to imagine how anyone could walk away from a boy like him. Milo is about 5 years old, gentle, sweet, and truly just wants to be loved. But his story is one that breaks your heart.
When his previous owners were moving out of state, Milo slipped outside. Instead of looking for him, calling for him, or waiting to make sure he was safe... they simply drove away. They left him behind to fend for himself, never once checking if he was scared, hungry, or hurt. Days passed, and Milo waited for people who were never coming back.
One of our volunteers found him wandering alone and brought him straight to us. He was microchipped, so we contacted his owners — hoping maybe they had made a mistake, or maybe they’d be relieved he was safe. But they didn’t want him. They signed him over without hesitation. Poor, sweet boy.
We took Milo to the vet, where he received a full exam and his vaccines. He was already neutered. Now he’s safe... but he’s also a cat who knows what it feels like to be abandoned, and he deserves a home where that will never happen again.
Milo is ready for a true forever home — one where he’ll be cherished, protected, and treated like family, not thrown away like trash. He seems comfortable around the other shelter cats and should do well with feline friends after a slow introduction. We’re asking for a home with no dogs or children, so he can finally be spoiled the way he should have been all along.
Milo has been let down once. Let’s make sure the next chapter of his life is filled with nothing but love.
